Wigan Link provide the following services for people living in the Wigan area.   Each service is designed around the needs of the individual.   Each person supported has their own dedicated team, working within a person centred framework.

• Minimum outreach support. This can be anything from six to twelve hours per week.
  
  
• Training and Development with a view to living independently with support.
  
  
• Twenty four hour support with sleep overs.
  
  
• Supporting Individuals on work based placements, and within local colleges.
  
  
• Twenty four hour complex needs support for both physical as well as learning disability related issues.
  
  
• Also 2-1 support where required - including waking nights.
  
  
• Advice, guidance and information regarding all aspect of disability rights, opportunities and expectations.
  
  
• Current support team includes, fully qualified team members with Registered Managers Award, level 4 NVQ in Care, level 3 and 2 and also A1 assessors.
  
  
• We also have our own Internal Verifier for these awards.
  
  
• The organisation is also registered with the Care Quality Commission.

• Wigan Link is now registered as an Approved NVQ provider with City and Guilds and can povide work based qualifications in the following areas.
• Level 2 Health and Social Care.
• Level 3 Health and Social Care.
• Level 4 Health and Social Care.
• A1 Assessors Award.
• These qualifications will change to the Diploma from March 2011.
